Maruti Suzuki will increase car prices from this date: Know here by how much

Maruti Suzuki India today announced that it will increase the prices of its models across its portfolio by up to Rs 30,000. The revised prices will be applicable from June 2026. The company also said that the exact amount of the price increase will vary depending on the model. The company said it will pass on some of the rising input costs to customers as inflationary pressures and a challenging cost environment persist. It said efforts made over the past few months to absorb the impact through cost-cutting measures were not enough. However, the company said it will continue to work to keep the burden on customers to a minimum. Maruti Suzuki India’s latest price hike follows similar revisions announced earlier by Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, Mahindra & Mahindra and Hyundai Motor India in FY2027, increasing prices by 0.5% to 2.5%. Unlike its competitors, Maruti Suzuki did not implement any price revision at that time.Maruti Suzuki sells its passenger vehicles through two retail networks – Arena and Nexa. The Arena channel mainly targets the mass-market segment and handles models like Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, WagonR, Eeco, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga, Brezza and Victorious. It retails premium and utility vehicles including Nexa Baleno, FrontX, Grand Vitara, Jimny, XL6 and Invicto. The newly launched E Vitara electric SUV has also been added to the Nexa portfolio as the company strengthens its presence in the EV sector.
