Kia India is all set to launch the next generation Kia Seltos SUV in the Indian market tomorrow i.e. on December 10, 2025. The SUV will have a completely new design, a completely new design, additional features, better safety and more. The company has already released several teasers, giving us a clear look at the exterior including the front and rear profiles.
The next-generation Seltos will continue to compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Maruti Victoris, Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun and the recently launched Tata Sierra. Prices for the outgoing Seltos start at Rs 10.79 lakh (ex-showroom), and with this generational update, expect a slight premium. Ahead of its official launch tomorrow, take a look at everything we know so far.Early teasers and several mock test vehicles indicate that the upcoming Kia Seltos will sport a far more mature and assertive look, inspired by the brand’s flagship SUVs available overseas like the Telluride. The front end is expected to feature a wider, more sculpted interpretation of Kia’s signature grille, with thin lighting elements at the sides that merge towards the centre. At the rear, a single light bar will extend the width of the SUV, giving a sense of visual width.

Inside, the new Seltos looks set for a major makeover. The spy shots indicate a cabin layout that echoes the design direction of Kia’s latest offerings, complete with a seamless dual-screen setup replacing the outgoing model’s smaller display. Each of these new panels is expected to measure 12.3 inches, and the climate controls and interface layout appear to be largely borrowed from the brand’s new global model.Additional interior touches seen in pre-production images point to a cleaner, more cohesive design. Ambient lighting appears woven into the cabin surfaces, while the air conditioning vents adopt a narrow, horizontal layout that complements the layered dashboard. It also gets a redesigned steering wheel with updated badge placement, well-defined buttons and a sturdy center console with retractable cup holders and a compact gear selector.Expected features include a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, ventilated and powered front seats, an electric “Boss Mode” function for the rear passenger, and an upgraded sound system. On the safety front, the model is likely to offer six airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, tyre-pressure monitoring and an improved suite of Level 2 ADAS functions.Under the hood, Kia is expected to offer a newly developed petrol-hybrid setup built around the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine. With the hybrid, Kia is expected to retain its familiar 160hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor and 1.5-litre diesel, both of which are the dominant powertrains for the current model.
