Hero MotoCorp has revised the prices of its 100cc commuter motorcycle range in India. The update affects some of the brand’s most affordable and high-volume models, including the HF Deluxe and Passion Plus. However, the good news is that the changes are minor and unlikely to have a major impact on purchasing decisions.
Hero MotoCorp price hike : Description
With the latest revision, all the 100cc motorcycles in Hero MotoCorp’s portfolio have become slightly more expensive. Depending on the model and variant, this increase ranges between Rs 250 to Rs 758. This comes soon after the company increased the prices of the Splendor Plus, which remains its best-selling motorcycle.
Hero HF 100, touted as the most affordable commuter bike from the brand, is now priced at Rs 59,489, ex-showroom. The HF Deluxe range has also seen revisions, with prices now starting at Rs 56,742 and going up to Rs 69,235, depending on the variant. These two models have received the high end of the price hike within the 100cc lineup. In comparison, Hero Passion Plus has seen a slight increase. The standard drum variant is now priced at Rs 76,941, while the Rs 125,000 edition is priced at Rs 78,324, both ex-showroom. The price revision for all variants of Passion Plus is limited to Rs 250.Such periodic hikes are part of annual price adjustments by manufacturers and are mainly due to rising input costs, higher raw material prices and inflationary pressures.Stay connected to TOI Auto for latest updates on the automotive sector and follow us on our social media handles on Facebook, Instagram and Xpress.
