Hyundai Venue gets new HX5 Plus variant: Price, features explained

Hyundai Motor India today announced the launch of the new HX5 Plus variant for the Venue sub-compact SUV. Priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the newly introduced variant is set to offer a rich feature set while improving the overall value for buyers. Interested customers can book the SUV online or by visiting their nearest Hyundai dealership.

Talking about the newly introduced HX5 Plus trim, it is offered with a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, NA petrol engine with 83 hp and 114 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This new trim adds a series of comfort and visual upgrades. Key additional features include quad beam LED headlamps, roof rails, a rear window sunshade, wireless phone charging, a driver armrest with integrated storage, a rear wiper and washer and driver-side power window with auto up and down functionality. Additionally, the HX4 variant now also gets driver seat height adjustment.

Other features on the HX5 Plus include single-pane panoramic sunroof, smart key with push-button start/stop, reverse camera with dynamic guidelines, 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, digital cluster and more. In terms of safety, it gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill Assist Control (HAC), front and rear seat belt pretensioners, 3-point seatbelts with reminder for all seats, ISOFIX child seat anchor points, impact-sensing auto door unlock, speed-sensing auto door lock, Follow-me-home headlights and rear parking sensors are available.Commenting on the introduction of the new variant in the all-new Hyundai VENUE, Mr. Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “The all-new Hyundai VENUE has received an overwhelming response from customers, with over 50,000 bookings already received.
