At the front of the motorcycle, there is an LED headlamp flanked by boomerang-shaped LED DRLs on either side. The bike also gets an LCD instrument console with all-LED lighting for the headlamps, tail-lamps and indicators.Powering the RC 160 is a 164.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder SOHC engine. The motor produces 19 hp and 15.5 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm and revs up to 10,200 rpm. The powerplant is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch. KTM claims a top speed of 118 kmph for the motorcycle.
In terms of hardware, the RC 160 is equipped with a 37mm USD front fork and rear monoshock. Braking duties are handled by a 320 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with tubeless tyres, size 110/70 at the front and 140/60 at the rear.Other notable features include electronic fuel injection, a CAN-enabled electronic system and navigation support on select variants. The bike also has a 13.75-litre fuel tank.
