    Car sales in India November 2025: Tata, Mahindra in top three

    India’s passenger vehicle market continued to be bullish in November 2025, with most major manufacturers reporting strong year-on-year growth. Maruti Suzuki maintained its lead, while Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra took the next two positions on the sales chart. Here’s how each OEM performed last month.

    November 2025 Car Sales:

    Maruti Suzuki recorded its highest ever monthly sales with 2,29,021 units sold in November 2025. This figure includes 1,74,593 units sold in the domestic market, 8,371 units supplied to other OEMs and 46,057 units exported.Tata Motors had another strong month reporting 59,199 units: up 26% over November last year. Domestic sales contributed 57,436 units, significantly higher than 47,063 units in the same period of 2024. Mahindra took the third position in India with sales of 56,336 units, growing 21.88% year-on-year. The company added more than 10,000 units compared to last year. Subsequently, Hyundai ranked fourth with total sales of 66,840 units, showing a year-on-year increase of 9%. Domestic sales rose marginally to 50,340 units, while exports rose to 16,500 units, compared to 13,006 units a year ago.

    Toyota Kirloskar Motor continued its steady pace with sales of 33,752 units in November 2025: up 28% over the same month last year. Of this, 30,085 units were sold domestically. Kia India, on the other hand, also had a strong month with 25,489 units, registering a growth of 24% year-on-year and its best sales in November since entering the Indian market. Among other players, Renault recorded a growth of 30.27% with 3,662 units. Triber and Kiger were the major contributors, registering a growth of 38.9% and 47.75% respectively. Renault also sold 447 units of the Kwid in the month. Honda Cars India recorded a steady performance in November 2025 with domestic sales of 5,204 units. The company also shipped 1,984 units to overseas markets, taking its total for the month to 7,188 units.Skoda Auto India recorded the highest growth rate among all manufacturers, with sales rising 90% year-on-year to 5,491 units. Its portfolio including the Kia Seltos, Slavia, Kushaq, Kodiaq and Octavia RS collectively contributed to the growth.
